William B. Sprincz
Bill Sprincz was a replacement umpire in the American League for a total of 13 games in 1978 and 1979 when the regular umpires were on strike. All of his games took place at Comiskey Park, in Chicago, IL. Outside of baseball, he worked as a policeman.
