Biographical Information[edit]
Since the conclusion of his playing career, Bill Sample has worked from time to time as a broadcaster. In this capacity he has worked for the Atlanta Braves (radio and TV, 1988-1989), California Angels (radio, 1993-1994) and MLB radio (2001-present).
Sample was the first major league player to come from James Madison University, and the only one to break into the majors prior to 1990.
Sample has written a baseball movie Reunion 108 [1].
