Biographical Information[edit]

Bill Miller was a college coach for 15 years. His father Red Miller was also a college coach.

Miller was 20-13 as a college pitcher and was MVP of the Big State Conference in 1975. He also won NAIA-II national titles in football in 1974 and 1975.

Miller was assistant coach at Spring Woods High School when Roger Clemens was there. He was head coach of Converse Judson High School for 7 years, going 125-50.

Miller replaced Ray Katt as head coach at Texas Lutheran University in 1992. Over 15 seasons, he went 530-191-3 and never had a losing season, passing Katt for the TLU win record his final season. He retired in 2007 to become director of athletics, having served in both that role and head baseball coach from 1999-2007.
