- Managed in the minor leagues from 1945 to 1954.
- Scouted for the Chicago Cubs (1953, 1955-1957), Philadelphia Phillies (1958-1960), and New York Mets (1961-1974).
- Elected to the International League Hall of Fame in 1954.
