Bill Hillier was a college coach.
Hillier was All-Ohio Athletic Conference in baseball (pitcher) and football (quarterback) as a player. He remained at Otterbein as assistant baseball and football coach and head tennis coach. He was head coach for London High School. He was pitching coach for Duke University from 1988-1993, then was associate head coach in 1994. He coached UNC Asheville from 1995-1999, winning 97 games. He set the school's career and season (27) win records. He went back to Duke as head coach from 2000-2005, going 121-214 and leaving amidst allegations of steroid use.
