Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Deitrick was a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy and took part in the Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Japan occupations during World War II (BN, VA Grave Locator). He played in 57 games in 1927 and 1928 for the Phillies at shortstop and in the outfield.
