Biographical Information[edit]

Bill Decker has won over 500 games as a college coach.

Decker was an All-American football defensive back in college.

Decker was an assistant coach at Wesleyan University in 1989 and 8-26 as head coach at Macalester College in 1990. He was 529-231 as head coach of Trinity College from 1991-2012, including a 45-1 season in 2008. He took the school to 2003 Division III College World Series, 2005 Division III College World Series, 2008 Division III College World Series and 2009 Division III College World Series, winning it all in 2008. He then was hired as head coach of Harvard University.

Decker's son, Kyle, played for him at Trinity, then became an assistant coach at University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Dayton, and Harvard University.
