Biographical Information

Bill Collver played one game in the majors at age 18, going 0-for-4 with the Boston Beaneaters. In 1888, it was reported that he had agreed to a contract with Albany, but that the manager later changed his mind. There was also a report in 1888 about an N.J. Collver, a shortstop, who was with Zanesville and Kalamazoo and was scheduled to play for a team in Hutchinson.
