Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Bailey was in the majors between 1907 and 1922, playing in all three major leagues of the time. Bailey is, unfortunately, most famous for consistently posting losing records as a major league pitcher. He also had 16 seasons in the minors, winning at least 231 games. He became ill during spring training in 1926 and died late that year.
He should not be confused with the other Bill Bailey, who was his contemporary.
