Big 8 Conference (JC)

The Big 8 Conference is a Junior College Conference in Northern California belonging to the California Community College Athletic Association. Originally called the Big 7, the league was formed in 2006 when seven schools broke away from the Bay Valley Conference. Modesto Junior College joined in 2008, coming over from the Central Valley Conference and the league was renamed the Big 8. In 2017 Folsom Lake College joined bringing it's membership to nine. Teams from the Big 8 Conference have won the CCCAA State Championship 11 times.
