Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Betty Fabac played four seasons in the AAGPBL with the Kenosha Comets from 1945 to 1948. She hit .199/~.286/.216 as a rookie, stealing 41 bases in 105 games and fielding .924. She tied Thelma Eisen for 9th in the league in steals. She was 2 for 7 in 1946. In 1947, Fabac only batted .133/~.220/.143 with one extra-base hit in 294 at-bats (at least it was a homer). She fielded .956. In her final season, she hit .191/~.298/.216 and fielded .963. She stole 43 bases in 123 games. For her career, she had batted .179/~.274/.276 with 124 steals in 321 contests. She fielded .950. She was 0 for 10 in her only 3 postseason games.
