Biographical Information[edit]
Betty Emry broke into professional baseball with the 1945 Racine Belles, and hit .143/~.181/.146 as the starting shortstop. In 280 AB, she had one extra-base hit, a double. She fielded a solid .945. The next year, Betty Trezza took over at short and Emry was used as both a pitcher and backup infielder. She went 7-4 with a 2.15 ERA and hit .165/~.304/.165. In the playoffs, she allowed three runs in three innings of work for the championship-winning Belles. It was her last season.
She worked in the Briggs Aircraft plant at one point.
