Berti Richardson is the brother of Frans Richardson. Playing for the Pioniers in 1999, he hit four triples, tied for second in the Hoofdklasse behind only Elton Wilson. The next year, he led the league with 32 steals, 8 more than runner-up Melfried Comenencia.

In 2002, Richardson scored 45 runs for Kinheim, leading the league by one over Clemenencia. His 20 steals were second-most and his three homers tied for 8th. Richardson retired after that season, but came back in 2010 at age 39 with ADO. He hit .289 in his first 28 games and made the inaugural Hoofdklasse All-Star Game.
