Biographical Information[edit]

An actor in over 50 shows and musician, Bert Convy began his professional life as a baseball player. He was signed out of high school by the Philadelphia Phillies and spent part of 1951 with the Klamath Falls Gems. The next year, he was with the Miami Eagles, hitting .239/~.364/.304 in 24 games and fielding .875 in the outfield. He was also with the Salina Blue Jays that season and put up a .196/~.327/.217 line in 14 contests.
