Biographical Information[edit]
Bernie Zender played in the Brooklyn Dodgers minor league system from 1947 to 1949.
In 1947, he hit .279 with 14 home runs in 125 games for the Danville Dodgers. In 1948, he hit .302 with 21 home runs and ten triples in 116 games for the Pueblo Dodgers and in 1949, he hit .252 with one dinger in 91 games for the Mobile Bears. Overall, he hit .280 with 36 home runs in 332 games.
He was one of the Zender brothers.
