The first Berkeley franchise played in the Central California League for the tail end of the 1910 season, where it was also known as the "Berkeley Basches", having moved from the Oakland Basches on July 31st. It was then known as the Berkeley Clarions in 1911. The second Berkeley franchise played only two games before moving to San Francisco.
