Biographical information[edit]
Bennie Bedford was a minor league baseball player and manager.
Bedford played eleven years in the minors, in 1921, from 1923 to 1931 and again 1933. His statistical record is incomplete, though it is known he hit .354 in 379 at-bats for the Roswell Giants in 1923.
Bedford managed the Henderson Oilers of the East Texas League for part of the 1931 season, replacing Hick Munsell. The team played only five games that season, as the league folded on May 7.
