Benders! is a short (80 pg.) book written in 1990 by John Kovach about interesting episodes and people from the history of baseball in South Bend, IN. Notables such as Babe Ruth, Stan Coveleski and Fred Lindstrom make appearances as well as AAGPBL great Jean Faut and numerous minor league stars.
