Ben Shipp
Biographical Information[edit]
Ben Shipp was a college coach.
Shipp coached for Cameron Yoe High School and Calhoun High School after finishing college. He then returned to his alma mater as head coach. He was 277-249-1 from 1986-1996, setting the school record for wins. He also took the team to second place in the 1992 NAIA College World Series, losing to Lewis-Clark State College in the school's first NAIA College World Series trip. In December 1996, he became full-time athletic director for Mary Hardin-Baylor. He has served on the NCAA Division III National Baseball Committee. In 2013, he returned as head coach for Mary Hardin-Baylor, retiring after the 2019 season.
