Biographical Information[edit]
Ben Hunt was the first player from Oklahoma to make it to the majors. A few players were born in Oklahoma before him, but he came to the majors first, at age 21.
He died before he was 40.
He is the second player with the last name "Hunt" to make the majors - or the first if one discards Dick Hunt, who played in the National Association, which is not always considered a major league.
