Biographical Information

Pitcher Ben Alsup has pitched in the Colorado Rockies minor league system since 2011 (through 2014). He was taken by the club in the 18th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

He was 3-3 with a 3.23 ERA in 13 games (11 starts) for the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2011. In 2012, with the Asheville Tourists, he was 14-5 with a 3.63 ERA in 24 starts and in 2013, he was 13-8 with a 4.45 ERA in 29 starts for the Modesto Nuts. He began 2014 with Modesto.
