Beat 'Em, Bucs
Beat 'Em, Bucs was the top song in Pittsburgh, PA in 1960 and the theme for the 1960 Pirates. Benny Benack and his Orchestra took the tune from Camptown Races and the song was originally used in an advertisement campaign for Iron City Beer. Bumper stickers, neckties and panties with the name of the song became popular in Pittsburgh that year. Latin, Chinese and Arabic editions were put forward by local businesses.
