Biographical Information[edit]
Beals Becker played 8 seasons in the National League, appearing in three World Series. He was second in the league in slugging in 1913 as well as second in the league batting race in 1914. He also had a minor league career, leading the 1907 Western Association with a .310 batting average in his second season in the loop. Following his big league days, he played minor league ball from 1916-25.
