Biographical Information

Baltazar Mesa pitched in the minors leagues and the CPBL. His brothers are MLB pitcher Jose Mesa and minor leaguer Rafael Mesa while his nephew is Jose Mesa Jr..

Mesa began his professional with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he went 3-3 with a 3.08 ERA for the GCL Dodgers in 1991. He then had a 9.49 ERA in 5 games for the Bakersfield Dodgers in 1992, and he left the Dodgers system. The Wei Chuan Dragons signed him in 1998, and Mesa had a 5.23 ERA in 8 games.
