Skin problems

I don't remember exactly since I was messin' with it a month ago. My experience was that the only decent skin is the main skin. The other skins would not display properly at all, meaning the text was all jumbled and the site became unusable. I noticed that even when the skins do work on Wikipedia they still are missing features. Better just to avoid these skins altogether. --Pti 15:32, 17 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Image problems

The system doesn't seem to be able to resize images, which makes it very awkward to use high resolution pictures in an article. I can't get either the "thumb" nor "NNNpx" method of creating a smaller image to work. --Roger 19:19, 10 Dec 2005 (EST)

I've noticed the same problem. What's up with that? None of the Media Wiki's support can explain it. It is also impossible to view Special:Newimages. BTW I took the liberty of resizing your Coors Field shot. (I'm not sure we should be going high-res though, max file size should still be 100k.)--Exshpos 19:33, 10 Dec 2005 (EST)

I'd guess that the problem is a misinstalled (or not installed) dependency somewhere. BTW, thanks for resizing the image. I thought that it was under 100k, but it's was obviously too big to put on the page if thumbnailing doesn't work. --Roger 10:48, 11 Dec 2005 (EST)

Template Problem

I just tried to create a template using parameter substitution, and it didn't work. It treated {{{ }}} pairs as literal values, not as substitutable parameters. See Template:Year for an example. Is this a problem with the Bullpen, or did I do something wrong? --Roger 14:17, 1 Feb 2006 (EST)
