Biographical Information[edit]
Avery Booker has been a college coach. He is the son of Greg Booker, grandson of Jack McKeon, brother of Zach Booker and nephew of Kelly McKeon and Kasey McKeon. After attending Brevard College, he was their pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. He also was head coach of Holly Springs Salamanders, a summer team, in 2018. He joined Greensboro College in 2018 and became head coach in 2020, going 10-8 before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He remained for one more season.
