Biographical Information[edit]
Augusto Faria pitched twice for the Brazilian national team in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, each time facing a single batter. Against Cuba, he relieved Rodrigo Maciel in the 6th. He walked Joan Carlos Pedroso then Fernando Oda took over. He closed out their 12-4 loss to Canada, replacing José Thiago Caldeira and retiring Ben Van Iderstine.
