Biographical Information

August Luther played in the minor leagues from 1935 to 1937 and in 1941. He hit .306 with 15 home runs, 14 triples and a .560 slugging percentage for the Des Moines Demons in 1935 and in 1937, he hit .302 with 14 triples in 127 games for the Selma Cloverleafs.
