Biographical Information[edit]
Augie Ojeda won a bronze medal for the United States at the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, GA. In the 2009 World Baseball Classic, he split shortstop duties for Mexico with Oscar Robles. Augie was 4 for 12 with a double, 2 runs and 4 RBI in the Classic. His two-run single off Hyun-jin Ryu produced all the Mexican offense in their 8-2 loss to South Korea.
