Atoms

During the 1969 season, the ownership of the Sankei Swallows was in the process of being transferred from the Sankei Shimbun to the Yakult Corporation. During the interim the team was called the Atoms. The transfer was completed on January 7, 1970, with the team becoming the Yakult Atoms.
