Athletic Park (Indianapolis)
Athletic Park, located at Seventh Street and Tennesse Avenue in Indianapolis, IN, was home of the Indianapolis Hoosiers in the American Association in 1884, the 1885 Western League and the National League from 1887 to 1889. For Sunday games, the team moved to Bruce Grounds, outside citylines, due to blue laws.
In 1892, when the city again placed an entry in the Western League, the team moved to a large park on East Ohio Street.
