Ashton Kinto
Ashton Kinto was the starting shortstop and leadoff hitter for the Palauan national team in the 2022 Pacific Mini-Games. He had three runs in their win over Gold Medalist Northern Mariana Islands. In the rematch with the Marianas in the semifinals, he had one of their two hits in a shutout loss to Josh Jones. He finished the tournament 3-for-20 with four walks but stole five bases, scored eight and drove in two. He tied Nokki Saralu and Teiich Mitsur for the most runs and led in swipes, one ahead of Anthony Tenorio. [1]
