Biographical Information

Art Quirk helped lead his South Kingstown High School (Rhode Island) baseball team to two state championships and almost a third in the mid-1950s. In his senior year, the Providence Journal selected him as their Honor Roll Boy and he went on to accept an academic scholarship to Dartmouth College, where he won All-Ivy League honors and helped his team get all the way to the Eastern Regional finals.
