Biographical Information[edit]

Anna May Hutchison played for the Racine Belles in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1944 to 1949 and helped lead the club to a championship in 1946. Originally a catcher, she later became a pitcher and was known for her sidearm delivery, which eventually caused arm problems that ended her baseball career. She later became an elementary school teacher.
