Anna Maria Paini
Biographical Information[edit]
Anna Maria Paini was a scorekeeper and statistician in Italian baseball starting in the early 1980s. She worked several international events, including the 2004 Olympics (where she worked the Bronze Medal game). She has been president of Italy's Comitato Nazionale Classificatori (first appointed to that role in 2006), working to make real-time online tracking of Italian baseball and softball possible. She has also been president of scorers for the IBAF (appointed in 2010). She was the scoring director at the 2007 European Championship, the 2009 Baseball World Cup and 2011 Baseball World Cup among other events. In 2014, she was inducted into the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame.
