Biographical Information[edit]
Angelo Rizzo played baseball for the Lib. Roma and Lazio teams. Angelo played in Italy's first international baseball game, versus Spain in 1952. Angelo was part of the Italian National team that won the first European Championship in 1954 in Belgium. In 1955, he and Franco Tavoni were invited by the Washington Senators to the US; Giulio Glorioso was the only Italian player who had been invited by a US club before. Rizzo overstayed his visa.
