Angel Jaén
Angel Jaén Arosemena
Angel Jaén was the first center fielder in the history of the Panamanian national team. In their first event, the 1930 Central American Games, he hit 9th and went 2 for 4 with two runs, a homer and a steal against the Salvadoran national team. It is not clear if it was the first home run for Panama as three players went deep that day. He played two more games, going 1 for 5 in them. Overall, he had five putouts in the outfield. Panama won the Bronze Medal.
