Biographical Information

Angel Cabrera has pitched for the Las Tunas Woodcutters. He debuted in 2007-2008 using his middle name, Rigoberto, rather than his first name. He was 2-1 with two saves and a 6.08 ERA. He did not pitch for the next two years then returned in 2010-2011 as Las Tunas's closer; he was 8-6 with ten saves and a 3.60 ERA. He tied for fourth in the Cuban Serie Nacional in saves and appearances (34) and led with 11 intentional walks.
