Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Sarduy has been an infielder for the Naranjas de Villa Clara.
Sarduy played for Cuba in the 2001 Junior Pan American Games. He hit .225/.287/.290 in 2006-2007 and .269/.309/.392 in 2007-2008. As the main second baseman for Villa Clara in 2008-2009, he hit a meek .200/.281/.299 while fielding .987 between 2B and SS. He did not play the next two seasons as Villa Clara looked askance at his .200 average. He returned to action in 2011-2012 and batted .290/.344/.398. In 2012-2013, he hit .276/.329/.381. He fielded .987 and won the Gold Glove at second base.
