Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Pilney served in the Navy in World War II.
An All-American halfback at the University of Notre Dame, he was an assistant football coach at Washington University in Saint Louis and Tulane University before becoming head coach at Tulane from 1954 to 1961.
After that he was a salesman for Labarge Concrete Company and a parish councilman from 1963 to 1975.
