Biographical Information

Andy Gill was a minor league player and a college coach.

Gill starred in both football and baseball at Indiana University. After college, he became the head baseball coach at the University of North Dakota. He was also the football and basketball coach there as well. In his first season, 1915, he left UND with one game to play in the baseball season so he could play baseball with Winston-Salem Twins. He also played in 1920 with the Saskatoon Quakers.
