Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Andy Dyes was selected by the Montreal Expos in the fourth round of the 1975 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the Lethbridge Expos, hitting .324 with 5 home runs while leading the Pioneer League with 58 RBIs and 40 stolen bases. Along with teammate Andre Dawson, he was an outfielder on the circuit's All-Star team.

Following the 1977 season, Dyes was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1977 Rule V draft. He ended his pro career by playing in the Mexican League from 1981 to 1984.
