Biographical Information[edit]

Andrew Tinnish is a scout.

Tinnish was Brock University Male Athlete of the Year for the 1999-2000 school year. In 1999, he was 3-1 despite a 6.93 ERA for the Les Capitales de Québec, walking 29 in 37 2/3 IP over 22 games. He went 1 for 1 at the plate. In 2001, he joined the Toronto Blue Jays as an intern. He was hitting coach for Canada in the 2002 World University Championship. He then became a scout for Toronto, being promoted to scouting director (a role he held from 2009-2012). He later became head of international scouting for the Blue Jays, signing Sem Robberse among others.
