Biographical Information[edit]

Andrés Morales won a Silver Medal with the Mexican national team in the 1950 Central American and Caribbean Games. He hit .197/.342/.231 in 84 games for the 1953 San Angelo Colts; a utility man, he was used more at second base than any other position. One bright spot was 56 walks in 84 games. He split 1955 between two Central Mexican League teams. In 1956, he hit .193/.360/.227 with 31 walks in 45 games for the Nogales Diablos Rojos and .143 between two CML teams. He wrapped up his career by hitting .252/.312/.303 with 5 triples and 51 runs in 88 games for the Saraperos de Saltillo, fielding .951 at short.
