Andrés Luis Martínez

Andrés Luis was the brother of Olympic star Omar Luis. Andrés Luis debuted with Camagüey in the 1982-1983 Serie Nacional. In 1984-1985, he was the losing hurler in the Cuban All-Star Game but went on to win the ERA title (1.67). His 2.33 ERA led the eastern division in 1988-1989. Despite his success, he never was picked for the Cuban national team. Luis finished his career 55-40 with a 3.13 ERA in 9 seasons. He had a better record and ERA than his more famous brother.
