Biographical Information[edit]
Andrés Alonso pitched for the Panamanian national team in the 1944 Amateur World Series. He got the win over Cuba, the last time Panama beat Cuba in the 20th Century. [1] He was 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA for the Patriotas de Venezuela in the 1946-1947 Venezuelan Winter League. [2]
