Team History[edit]
After the 2008 season, a new ownership group bought the Nashua Pride and renamed them the American Defenders of New Hampshire. The name is meant to honor members of the United States Armed Forces. Former Boston Red Sox player Brian Daubach was named the team's first manager. The team played in uniforms with a camouflage pattern. However, it had trouble drawing fans and folded after just one season, during which they finished last in the league in both halves.
