Biographical Information

Alonso Alleyne played for the Panamanian national team in the 1972 Amateur World Series. Signing with the [{Philadelphia Phillies]], he hit .223/.295/.229 for the 1973 Pulaski Phillies, stealing 11 bases in 11 tries. He fielded .963 as their main second baseman. With the 1974 Spartanburg Phillies, he batted .220/.255/.229 and fielded .951 at second.
