Biographical Information[edit]
Alfred McCoy was a college coach.
McCoy played for Penn State in the 1922 Rose Bowl. He coached Northeastern University in baseball (1930-1937), basketball and football. His 1934 baseball team was 12-2, the best record in school history. He was later was a sportswriter for the San Diego Tribune (1964-1974).
