Biographical Information[edit]
Alfio D'Aprile started off a softball player then moved to baseball. At age 25, he became coach of C.U.S. Milano. He was most noted for his work as an umpire, working in Italy as well in international competitions. In 2005, he was an inaugural member of the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame.
